How often?

Hello,
I have just received my lens align and have been using it today.

I was wondering ...how often does a lens/camera need to be put through calibration.
Once dialed in does it just stay? or does it drift over time?

It is best for you to establish the best timing. Some camera/lens combinations are very stable, and some drift over time, and/or environmental conditions.

So my suggestion is to re-test after 2 weeks or so. If stable, let it go to a month next time, and establish what works for your specific gear. Also if you are approaching a critical session that will be very shallow DOF, I would do a check before the session.

Also I would re-test when returning from and leaving for a trip.

Hope this helps..
